Adam and Claire’s intimate elopement at Seven Bridges in Milwaukee, WI
Adam and Claire’s wedding day was small, personal, and very much about the two of them.
They got married at Seven Bridges with just a close friend there to officiate. Afterward, instead of spending the rest of the day in one place, we went around Milwaukee visiting some of the places that had been part of their relationship.
We stopped at the bar where they had some of their first dates, then visited a few of the apartments they had called home over the years.
I loved getting to see those places with them and hear some of the stories behind them. It made the day feel less like a traditional wedding day and more like a little tour through their life together.
We took photos along the way, wandered around, and had plenty of time to just enjoy the day. Some of my favorite images came from those in-between moments, the places we stopped, the things they were laughing about, and the little pieces of their story that wouldn’t have made it into a traditional wedding timeline.
That’s what I love about elopements. You don’t have to spend the day doing what everyone else does. You can build it around the two of you and the things that actually matter to your relationship.
Adam and Claire made their wedding day feel completely like their own, and I was pretty happy to get to spend the day tagging along.
Here are a few of my favorites from their Seven Bridges elopement.
