Shannon & John’s September Wedding at Homestead Hollow County Park

Shannon and John got married at Homestead Hollow County Park in Germantown, Wisconsin, in September. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony, followed by dinner and a reception in the barn.

Before the ceremony, Shannon did a first look with her dad and another with John. I loved that she made time for both. Seeing John beforehand also gave us plenty of time for their portraits together. We could take our time without watching the clock, and they had a chance to spend some time together before the ceremony began.

I really liked the feel of this wedding. It was stylish, but everyone seemed comfortable and happy to be there. From the ceremony outside to everyone gathering in the barn for dinner, it felt warm and personal.

I loved getting to photograph the different parts of their day—the first looks, portraits of the two of them, and all the moments with their family and friends along the way.
